The police said she had reported that the truck of ice that hit on DiLorenzo 7:40 pm began with mechanical problems as it has fallen by a hill.
“The driver of the truck said the ice on the brakes,” Deadwood police chief Dan DeNeire Wednesday.
The driver lost control of the truck, it was never überhört and DiLorenzo’s Harley-Davidson, matche against a concrete barrier, DeNeire said.

Bob Epstein, a family friend, he said Wednesday evening with the DiLorenzos the last week before on the path to the South Dakota in their motorhome.
He said he was told that shortly before the crash, Emily and Jim DiLorenzo has just had dinner Deadwood and were returned to the campsite. Emily DiLorenzo was on a motorcycle of her husband, said Epstein.
“I admire and respect as much as every human being, that I have never taken, because its character and values and concern for his family,” he said. “As a car dealer, its principles of fairness and honesty has been exemplary.”
Sulima, now owns Solitaire houses with her husband, George, recalled the good times she shared with DiLorenzo.
“He had a great sense of humour,” she says. “He would call me start with a joke every week. He was a very nice man.
“Always when there is a party, he was the life of the party,” she added. “It is strange that nature, nothing more.
Chick Hancock, Chick owners of Harley-Davidson, remembered DiLorenzo’s preference for motorcycles and noted that several DiLorenzo were often bought and Chick’s for accessories.
